Now that the cold and wet weather is upon us we would like to take this opportunity to remind you of a few things.  Please send your child dressed appropriately through the winter months as recess periods will be outside as long as the weather permits. We appreciate warm coats, snow pants, boots, hats and gloves.  It might be a good idea to pack a change of socks and pants for your child to keep in their locker.  Keeping a pair of gloves and a hat in their lockers, as well, would insure that the children are prepared for recess through the winter months.  We see a lot of kids in the clinic with wet clothes from playing outside.  It is more comfortable for your child if they are clean and dry during classroom time.
